There’s no doubt about it that perfect skin is always the beauty agenda and a perfect base starts with perfect prep. Invest in a minute or two to carry out some proper prep. Moisturising with a high SPF lotion will help your makeup sit well on the skin and protect from the harmful UV rays of the sun which without protection can lead to premature ageing and surface skin cell damage.

The formula blends rich botanical extracts with UV filters to not only hydrate the skin but effortlessly protect it against free radicals and environmental damage. It refines, brightens and boosts radiance all whilst saving your skin from the effects of sun damage. On the pricier side this isn’t a reach to, everyday product for me however its blend of red, green and white tea extracts which offer an anti oxidant for the skin all whilst protecting from the sun damage makes it a great investment.
Elemis Liquid Layer SPF 30, £28.00 This mineral infused, water resistant moisturiser is designed to be lightweight enough to sit well under makeup and is a first line of defence against sun damage and premature ageing.
